A very Lucky Ducky

Are you considering a pet duckling? This one loves to be dried off with the aid of a warm hair dryer.

Watch here if you can't see the video above.

Kangaroo Fun

I thought this photo looked hot too. I haven't spent much time outdoors since the heat wave began. I'm so thankful for central air. Oh, by the way, I loved Sunday's episode of ENDEAVOUR on Masterpiece Mystery on PBS. Did you watch? My friend in Massachusetts loved it too. I'm watching Pie In The Sky right now. I love the quirky characters. British TV is so great. It will soon be time to retire to my bedroom to watch the flat screen. Good night. See you tomorrow. via

Happy Duck with A New Prosthetic Foot

After--the bright orange one is artificial.

Before--having a peg leg was no fun.

Works in water too. Happy Duck Face, forever after.

More photos here with pictures of the genius doctor who designed and made the new webbed foot for this lucky duck. There is no text but the pictures say it all. I adore human interest stories like this, don't you?

Sleeping Bunny

Pretty soon I'll be on my side snoozing too. It has been a long rainy day and even though I was able to squeeze in a nap, I am still sleepy. See you in the morning. via

In case you've ever wondered, this is how it's done. This little duckling looks pretty pleased with himself for having mastered the duck paddle, doesn't he? via

Does your Cat have a Bunny Buddy?

Apparently, this is a trend. Tabitha hasn't heard about it yet and I'm not going to tell her. Click HERE to see more cat/bunny best friends. They show genuine love for one another, so get ready for your face to break out in a big smile.

Portrait of a Flop-Eared Bunny

This little bunny is glad to be outside in the sunshine and so am I. I hope there is a patch of clover nearby for him to nibble. It's pretty nippy outside but will get warmer as the day progresses. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. photo source

Jessica The Hippo -- She's A House Pet

Please promise me you will watch this heart warming video about a coffee-drinking hippo in South Africa named Jessica.

Click here to watch it on YouTube if it doesn't show up for you in my post. I always tuck in my animals at night but I honestly can't imagine tucking in a hippo. Her nighttime routine will definitely make you smile.

Bunny Eating Snowdrops

Is this little bunny powering up for the Easter weekend? My snowdrops have been in constant bloom since February thanks to our cold spring weather. I love these sweet harbingers of spring. via
